This was my very first pop-up book, created in collaboration with a talented paper engineer, Bruce Foster. I learned so much about the craft and process of making pop-ups.  The intricate construction amazed me and gave me a deep appreciation for the magic of paper engineering.  I still remember spotting it at the Chicago museum shop the year it was published — it was such a joyful surprise!
