Hinamatsuri

Illustration for HIGHLIGHT magazine depicting a Hina Matsuri (Girls’ Day), when people celebrate and display dolls on red felted stairs on March 3rd. The scene shows a girl accidentally dropping a box of traditional dolls. Inspired by my parents’ home, I added cozy details such as tatami mats, sliding doors, and small personal items to bring authenticity and cultural depth to the scene.
