Sweet Friend

Spot illustration from How to Be a Mensch by A. Monster, written by Leslie Kimmelman. The text for this spot says “fixing things that are broken.” The words “broken” and “monster” made me think of Frankenstein, and I imagined a little kind-hearted monster repairing a Frankenstein-like creature. The result is a sweet, playful scene; one of my favorite monsters from the book! Sometimes one word can spark wild imagination.
